『クローン・ウォーズ』のシーズン7に登場した不良分隊バッド・バッチを捉えた作品。クローン戦争終結の直後が舞台で、バッド・バッチが新たな目的を追い求め、大胆な傭兵任務に挑む姿が描かれるそう。
『スター・ウォーズ／クローン・ウォーズ』『マンダロリアン』のデイヴ・フィローニ、『スター・ウォーズ レジスタンス』のアシーナ・ポルティーヨ、ジェニファー・コーベット、『スター・ウォーズ 反乱者たち』のブラッド・ラウなどが製作総指揮に就任。
